The applications for the 3rd Junior Economists Meeting (UniMi-JEM24) are now open.

The JEM is a yearly workshop organised by the University of Milan that offers a unique opportunity for Ph.D. students and early-career researchers working on applied topics (applied micro, experimental and behavioural economics) to present and discuss their work.

The 3rd edition of the workshop will take place in Milan on the 16th and 17th of May 2024 and will feature a keynote speech by Prof. Giovanni Peri (UC Davis) ) on «Measuring and Predicting “New Work”: The Role of Local Factors and Global Trends». Applicants should apply by sending a complete draft through the submission form below before the 8th of March.

There is no conference fee. Invited speakers can apply for financial assistance for accommodation and travel expenses. Participants will only be eligible to receive financial assistance if they have indicated this in the application form. Presentations will last for 30 minutes and will be followed by a 10-minute discussion and a 5-minute Q&A. The event will begin around 2 pm on Thursday (May 16th) and end around 5 pm on Friday (May 17th).
